Memorial Satilla Health will host Milk and Cookies: Nourishing New Beginnings, a special event celebrating Breastfeeding Awareness Week, August 1-7.
The event will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 4 in the Birthing Center on the third floor of Memorial Satilla Health. The forum supports mothers, babies and all feeding journeys. Designed for new and expecting mothers, the event will offer an opportunity to connect with others, tour the Mother-Baby Unit, meet the hospital’s lactation support team and receive breastfeeding education and resources. Guests are also invited to enjoy a sweet treat from the event’s cookie bar.
