Ware BOE holds meetings July 20-21 The Ware County Board of Education holds its regular monthly meetings Monday-Tuesday, July 20-21 at the board offices, 13-1 Bailey Street.
There will be a work session at 5 p.m. July 20 and the regular business meeting at 6 p.m. July 21. Both forums are open to the public.
The business meeting will be live-streamed at www.ware.k12.ga.us, click Menu, and select Board of Education Meeting Livestreams. The meeting agenda is posted prior to the meeting, and the minutes are posted as well, on the system web page at www.ware.k12.ga.us under the District and e-Board links.
Legion Post 517 meets tonight

Both half- and full-day programs are available, Monday-Friday, July 2731. Cost per child is $60 for a half day (8 a.m.noon) and $130 for full (8 a.m.-5 p.m.).
A T-shirt is included in the fee. Applications are available to download and bring to SFW with payment or it can be filled out online and submitted with credit card payment ($2 processing fee).

Ware GOP holds meeting July 20 The Ware County Republican Party holds its monthly meeting at 6 p.m., Monday, July 20 at Hog ‘n’ Bones Restaurant, 1900 Memorial Drive.
Austin Futch, Regional Field Director for Georgia gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson, will give an update on the campaign. Also expected to speak is Ware County Tax Commissioner Roger Collins to share general information on taxes and to share new information about the 2026 tax year.

MSH has classes for child birth Memorial Satilla Health has scheduled bi-monthly maternity classes and monthly tours of its Birthing Center.

Diabetes group has monthly forum The Talki Foundation’s monthly support group 912 Diabetes Initiative for people with diabetes and their caregivers meets the first Saturday of each month.
