Duke Arnold Raulerson Jr., 64, of Waverly, formerly of Blackshear, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026, at his residence.
Born in Blackshear August 31, 1961, he lived most of his life in Pierce County. He was a 1979 graduate of Blackshear High School. He would go on to serve in the U.S. Navy prior to returning home and going to work with the family business, Raulerson’s ACE Hardware. He loved fishing in his free time and was a member of the Blackshear First Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Duke Arnold Sr. and Mary Inez Bryant Raulerson. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Beth Ann Raulerson; by his grandson, Rhett Raulerson and by a sister, Kay Raulerson Carter.
Survivors include his son, Jasper Ernest Bryant “Jeb” Raulerson, Nicholls; his sister, Kim Raulerson, Darien and several other relatives and friends.
In honoring his wishes, there will be no service at this time and his cremains will be scattered in his favorite place.
Memorialization is by cremation.
