The quarterly meeting of the Altamaha Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will take place at noon, Saturday, August 15, at Captain Joe’s Restaurant, 2686 Savannah Highway, Jesup.
A genealogy workshop will be held following the meeting. Potential members are invited to attend. Applications will be available and SAR members will assist potential members with genealogy research.
The Altamaha Chapter SAR is based in Jesup and serves the counties along the Altamaha River basin. Membership is open to Pierce County residents.
