The next veterans information session will be held from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday, October 30 at the NFC Gym in Blackshear.
Following the success of their May informational event, the local chapter of Amvets has scheduled a second session to reach those in the veteran community who could not previously attend.
There is no cost to attend and all veterans, spouses and dependents are welcome.
Guylee Washington, commander of local Amvets Post 1857, which is hosting the event, seeks to ensure all interested veterans have access to important information which could benefit them.
