The local Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) 2026-2027 Regional Plan Update for the Southern Georgia Workforce Development Area #18/Region #11 is available for review and public comment for 30 days. The plan is available for review online at https://www.sgrc.us/work force.html Memorial Satilla to hold blood drives Memorial Satilla Health and The Blood Connection will host three more blood drives in 2026. Blood drives are held in the old registration lobby of 1900 Tebeau Street, Waycross. Upcoming drives are set for 9 a.m. 2 p.m. July 31, October 2 and December 4.
