Parking lot improvements are on the way for the Pierce County Recreation Department’s Ware Street Facility.
The Scruggs Company of Valdosta was approved for the parking lot project for the facility, to include the lots at Ware and Yeomans Street.
Scruggs bid $263,267.10 for the work which will include base reclamation and resurfacing. The county’s engineer, Statewide Engineering, recommended the company for the work.
