Karita Latrice Robinson

Karita Latrice Robinson, 44, of Lithia Springs, Georgia, formerly of Patterson, peacefully entered eternal rest Friday, July 3, 2026, at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, surrounded by the love of her family.

"Who can find a capable wife? Her value is far more than that of corals.  Her husband trusts her from his heart, And he lacks nothing of value. 12] She rewards him with good, not bad, All the days of her life." — Proverbs 31:10-12 (NIV)
She was born December 27, 1981, in Blackshear, to Guylee and Helen Washington. She was a proud 2000 graduate of Pierce County High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University. Committed to lifelong learning and professional excellence, she later earned a master of finance from Strayer University.
She built a distinguished career in the banking industry, serving with dedication and integrity at BB&T and later Truist Bank. Through years of hard work and leadership, she advanced to the position of Senior Vice President, Business Risk Advisor II, where she was highly respected by colleagues for her professionalism, wisdom and unwavering commitment to excellence.
A faithful believer in Christ, she was a devoted member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lithia Springs. Her faith guided her life and was reflected in the kindness, grace and compassion she extended to everyone she met.
More than any professional accomplishment, she treasured her family. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, caring sister and loyal friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with those she loved, creating lasting memories, offering encouragement and sharing her beautiful smile. Her gentle spirit, generous heart and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cleveland Hollis Sr. and Lavon Lincoln.; her paternal grandmother, Betty R. Washington; her beloved aunts, Bertha Lincoln, Maxine Wright and Benedine Jefferson and her uncle Wesley Lincoln, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving husband, Quincy Robinson, Lithia Springs; three beloved daughters, Azaniah Jones, Summerville, South Carolina, Hollis Robinson and Harper Robinson, both of Lithia Springs; her devoted parents, Guylee and Helen Washington,Offerman; her loving sister, Jasmine Washington, Warner Robins; her cherished grandfather, Daniel Washington, Offerman; her loving parents-in-love, Andrew and Sylvia Robinson; her brother-in-love, Nico (Jennifer) Robinson; one special nephew, Braylon Washington and three special nieces, Mailani Robinson, Aubree Brown and Drew Robinson.
She also shared a special bond with her beloved aunts and uncles, whom she loved dearly: Herman (Connie) Lincoln, Patterson and Cleveland (Catherine) Hollis and Roosevelt (Linda) Hollis, all of Waycross, Melvin (Ramona) Hollis, Patterson,  Jerome (Jeanette) Lincoln, Blackshear, Jadon Lincoln, Lexington Park, Maryland, Paula Washington, Jacksonville, Florida, Hazel Ferguson, Waycross, Blondell Mobley, Patterson and Mabalene Baker, Waycross.
Although Karita’s earthly journey ended far too soon, her legacy of faith, love, strength and compassion will continue to live on through her family, friends and all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten. She shared a special closeness with her cousins, family members, high school and college friends and colleagues.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, from the Blackshear First Baptist Church.
A repast will be held in the church social hall immediately following the service.
