Crews, Jr.
WAYCROSS — Mr. Earl Morris Crews, Jr., 66, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026, at Memorial Satilla Health following an extended illness.
Crews was born in Ware County to Earl Morris Crews, Sr. and Pansy Lloyd Crews Cox. He worked as a painter in the construction industry for many years and attended Kettle Creek Church.
In his spare time, Crews enjoyed fishing, listening to music and spending time outdoors. He especially appreciated the simple pleasures of nature and being outside.
Crews was preceded in death by his father and stepfather, Leland Cox.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Crews of Waycross; one granddaughter, McKayla Crews of Waycross; his mother, Pansy Crews Cox of Waycross; one sister, Tabitha Thomas (Troy) of Waycross; one brother, Marcus Crews (Barbara) of Clarksville, Tenn.; one stepbrother, Raymond Cox (Sharon) of Waycross; one stepsister, Bonnie Cartwright of Waresboro; five nieces and nephews, Baileigh Pitts (Hunter), Braylin Thomas, Blaise Thomas, Jennifer Crews and Sara Crews.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, July 1 at Kettle Creek Cemetery.
