Ware County Health Department offers school immunization and screening

Special to the WJH The Ware County Health Department will help get your child ready for the start of school next month with two Back-to-School Clinics in the coming weeks.

The first of the sessions at the department’s office at 604 Riverside Avenue will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Thursday, July 23 with the second from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, August 6. The first day of school for Ware students is August 6.

During the clinics, health department staffers will provide required vaccines, along with hearing, vision, and dental screenings, to fulfill requirements for Georgia DPH Forms 3231 and 3300 for school attendance. No appointment is necessary.
