Hoboken, Nahunta Masonic Lodges gift students bicycles

Special to The Beacon The Hoboken Masonic Lodge and Nahunta Masonic Lodge recognized students at the five elementary and primary schools in the Brantley County School System who earned the highest Accelerated Reader (AR) points with bicycles.

Children from each grade level, kindergarten through fifth grade from each school received bikes.

From Hoboken Elementary School the children who received bikes were Tucker Ray (Kindergarten), Lincoln Gunter (1st Grade), Lawson Rios (2nd Grade), Haydin Dorsey (3rd Grade), Chris Guzman (4th Grade), and Greyson Burch (5th Grade).

Nahunta Primary School recipients were Paisley Crews (Kindergarten), Edward Hines (1st Grade), Mackenzie Schmitt (2nd Grade), Banner Rowell (3rd Grade).

Nahunta Elementary School’s Jackson Mitchell (4th Grade) and Emma Destin (5th Grade) received bikes.

Waynesville Primary recipients were Madden Brock (Kindergarten), Dalton Thorton (1st Grade), Sean Spain (2nd Grade), and Roan Alvarado (3rd Grade).

Atkinson Elementary School students receiving bikes were Joseph Hood (4th Grade) and Callie Morgan (5th Grade).

The Masons would like to thank Marshland Credit Union, Ace Hardware, Southeastern Bank and Joey’s Welding for their financial support to help make this possible.
