Sylvester Lee Reynolds, 74, of Alma, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, following a brief illness.
He was born in Appling County January 6, 1952 to the late Albert Reynolds and Roberta Murray Jenkins Reynolds.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Keevie Reynolds; brothers, James, Roy and Roscoe Reynolds and sisters, Clara Wingard and Gloria Jenkins.
He was a truck driver for Sly Man Trucking for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Chiago Elvington; sons, Ryan, Anthony, Harry, Jerry and Dequane Reynolds, Anton Smith and Sirbari Williams; daughters, Angela Reynolds, Gwen Wesley, Chenae Reynolds and Nova Reynolds; special goddaughter, Autumn Folsom; brothers, Moses Reynolds and Larry Jenkins; sisters, Dorceil Wilcox, Bertie Allen, Ida Thelma Guyton and Sara Jenkins and several grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday July 2, from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home.
