DIXIE UNION — Mrs. Harriet Bennett Bagley, 80, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026, at her residence in Dixie Union.
She was born June 28, 1945 in Bacon County to the late Aaron Richard Bennett and Viroue Turner Bennett. Mrs. Bagley was formerly employed by the Ware County Courthouse, Ware Tech (OTC), and the CSX Transportation. She was a member of Haywood Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World. She helped coordinate events with the Woodmen, and she enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Arnold Richard Bennett, Sr. and Ansley Bennett.
Survivors include her brother, Alex Bennett of Dixie Union; sister-in-law, Virue Bennett of Dixie Union; three nephews, Ricky Bennett (Becky), Archy Bennett (Selina), and Andy Bennett (Tonya); special friend, Daniel Raulerson; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held June 24 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Jordan Cemetery in Dixie Union.
