Wahl
WAYCROSS — Mrs. Jenny Wahl, 76, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at her residence in Waycross following a short illness.
She was born in San Jose, Calif., to the late Jess and Lena Quinn. She was a homemaker for most of her life, but early on she worked for the Walnut Creek School District in California.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Wahl was loved by many and cherished the time she spent with her family. She enjoyed reading, studying astrology, researching genealogy, and practicing Tai Chi. Her kind spirit and wide range of interests brought joy to those around her.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Wahl; and three siblings, Phyllis Hallack, Fran Lyons, and Dennis Quinn.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Johnnie Wahl of Waycross; two daughters, Jamie Wahl of Paradise, Calif., and Julie Thompson (Greg) of Nahunta; eight grandchildren, Vincent Wahl, Nicholas Wahl-Adams, Marcus Wahl, Quinn Wahl-Adams, Jeremiah Thompson (Ashley), Jesse Howe (Rhanda Narramore), Jacob Wahl (Brooklyn Sarao), and Curtis Thompson (Carly); 14 great grandchildren, with one more on the way; a brother, Mike Quinn of Oklahoma; a sister, Dale Flores of Vacaville, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jenny’s wishes were to be cremated.
