A recount of voting in Ware County for the Republican nomination for Public Service Commission District 3 confirmed the results certified by the Ware County Board of Elections and Registration.
The board said the recount, which was held Monday, June 22, matched the totals for Brandon Martin and Fitz Johnson certified by the board after voting for the General Primary May 19.
Martin polled 1,638 vote to 1,582 for Johnson in Ware County. Johnson won the seat by just fewer than 3,000 votes in the district.
