WAYCROSS — Mr. Anthony Dewayne White, Sr., 68, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at his residence in Waycross.
He was born in Homerville to the late E.B. White and Letitia Jordan White. He was employed as an electrician with Inman Electric for 16 years and was a member of I.B.E.W. Local 508. Above all else, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished his family.
His sweet nature, strong faith, and willingness to help anyone in need made him a beloved role model and friend. He attended Anchor Baptist Church in Blackshear.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Jordan White; a brother, David White; and a stepdaughter, Amy Allen.
He is survived by two children, Beth Rasnick (Jonathan) and Anthony White, Jr. (Samantha), both of Waycross; a stepdaughter, Tonya Loper of Jesup; 14 grandchildren; five siblings, Debra Thomason (William) of Gulf Shores, Ala., Jeffrey White of Douglas, Delores Melton (Mike) of Waycross, Darren White (Penny) of Waycross, and Chris White of Waycross; his beloved dogs, Buddy, Bullet, Bonnie, B.B., and Betty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held June 20 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
