Tillman
BRUNSWICK — It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the Friday, June 12, 2026 passing of James “Rodney” Tillman, 71 of Brunswick.
Tillman was born in Baxley and moved to Glynn County in 2000. He loved hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Tillman.
Tillman is survived by his mother, Lila Pearl Tillman of Baxley; daughters, Rachel Nemec of Brunswick and Lori Sharee Craighill (Edley) of St. Simons Island and Lake Toxaway, N.C.; four grandchildren, Jordan, Logan, Morgan and London; four great grandchildren, Addison, Lanie, Rem and, Wrangler; a brother, Walt Tillman; a sister, Angie Cauley (Toby); several nieces and nephews and other loved ones.
Tillman’s kindness and wisdom, and love for his family will be missed, but never forgotten. We will forever cherish his memories and he will forever live on.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory were in charge of arrangements.
