Dykstra
WAYNESVILLE — Loretta Ann Dykstra, 75 of Waynesville, passed away Sunday June 14, 2026 at Southeast Georgia Health System of Brunswick.
Mrs. Dykstra was born October 16, 1950 in Patt erson, N.J., to Tunis and Margaret Dykstra, and lived in South Georgia for over 30 years. She was a member of Waynesville Baptist Church, and enjoyed socializing, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Dykstra is preceded in death by both of her parents; her daughter, Kristi Lynne Meyer; and three siblings, Curt Dykstra, Bart Dykstra and Jerry Dykstra.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Betts; children, Terri Wallace (Wally) and Todd Meyer; brothers, Greg Dykstra (Sheila) and Paul Dykstra; grandchildren, Ashley Jones (Jeffrey), Janie Wallace, Austin Meyer (Samantha), Andrew Meyer and Brianna Hutchinson; great grandchildren, Waylon Jones, Lyndy Jones and Adrianna Meyer; and many other extended relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services to celebrate Mrs. Dykstra’s life, were held Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Emory Wilson officiating.
Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory were in charge of arrangements.
