UNDATED — On Monday, June 1, 2026, our hearts were broken when Daisy Mae, age 23, left this world far too soon.
Ms. Mendez was a beloved daughter, mother, family member, and friend. She had a beautiful smile, a funny personality, and a way of making people laugh with her expressions and blunt honesty. She never pretended to be someone she wasn’t, and those who loved her cherished her for exactly who she was.
The greatest joy of Ms. Mendez’s life was her daughter, Honey Mendez. She loved watching Honey grow, learn, and discover the world around her. Nothing made her smile more than hearing Honey laugh. She was proud to be Honey's mother, and her love for her little girl was endless.
Ms. Mendez faced challenges in her life, but she continued to hope, try, and dream of a brighter future for herself and Honey. She had a caring heart and loved deeply. Her family will always remember her sense of humor, her determination, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.
To know Ms. Mendez was to know someone who could make you laugh, tell you exactly what she thought, and love with her whole heart. The memories she created with her family and friends will be treasured forever.
She is survived by her precious daughter, Honey Mendez, her loving mother, and many family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Ms. Mendez’s life was a gift, and her love remains in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she is gone from our sight, she will never be gone from our hearts.
