JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Mr. Clarence Robert Smart, Sr., 71, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 7, 2026, at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville after an extended illness.

He was born October 8, 1954 in Fairfield, Iowa, to the late Charles Norman Smart and Donna Jean Calh oun Smart. Smart graduated from Waycross High School in 1972, and he was affiliated with the Baptist faith.

He retired from Suwannee Swifty Convenience Stores as a regional supervisor, and he formerly owned and operated Smart Liquidation in Lake City, Fla. Smart was mostly a working man, but he also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Willene Tucker Smart; two sisters, Karen Crews and Betty Jean Selph; and four brothers, Randy, Chuck, Tony, and Gene Smart.

Survivors include two sons, Robbie Smart (Jana) of Jesup, Matt Smart of Waycross, Angela King (Robbie) and Mark Cribbs all of Florida; grandchildren, Madi Smart, Danielle Ammons, Ally Ammons, Dreama Tuell (Logan), Landon Smart, Rhyder Smart, Brandon King, Travis King, Amber King, and Alex Robinson; three siblings, Bonnie Beverly, Lynn Smart, and Allen Smart (Sandy), all of Waycross; mother of his children, Judy Wrenn of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Friday, June 12 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Lake City, Fla.
