First Antioch sets Gospel Festival First Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 615 Knight Avenue, has scheduled its third annual Gospel Festival at 3 p.m., Sunday July 25.

Greater St. Paul continues VBS Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 Pittman Street, continues its Vacation Bible School through Friday, June 19.

The program is 9 a.m. to noon daily. The theme is “Reigning With Purpose” emphasizes good stewardship through a fun, western theme based in 1 Peter 4:10.

There will be lunch daily with special “sweet treats” for Friday’s meal. Included in the program will be the third annual talent show as well as a quiz and art activities.

The Rev. Darren B. Jackson is church pastor.

Joseph’s Pantry offers giveaway Joseph’s Pantry, a ministry of The Pentacostals of Waycross, offers staples the second and fourth Saturday of each month.

The giveaway is from 9:30 to 11 a.m., June 27. Those accepting items must show a valid ID.

St. John honors fathers June 21 St. John Missionary Baptist, 864 oak Street, will hold a special Father’s Day program at 3 p.m., June 21.

The Rev. Morris Pate of Fourth Mount Olive Church in Blackshear will lead the worship. A dinner will follow the program.

Church pastor is the Rev. Gerald Robinson.

St. Peters MBC Unity Day June 21 St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church, 300 Fireman Street, celebrates Unity Day with a special worship service at 11:15 a.m. Sunday June 21.

Theme for the program will be “One Body, Many Parts.” Guest Speaker will be Dr. Terence Lattimore of Judah Family Worship Center. Church pastor is the Rev. Dr. Norris L. Woods, Sr.

DC Downtown has food ministry DC Downtown Food Ministry offers food items from a 5,000-square foot warehouse at 201 Jenkins Street from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Masterbuilders set special worship The Masterbuilders will present the program “Wait on the Lord” at 7 p.m. Friday, June 19, at the Solid Foundation Church of God, 2007 Thomas Street.

Featured speakers include Elder Jacqueline Wallace, Brother Aaron Riley, Sister Bobbie Douglas, Minister Frank Farrell, Bishop Johnnie Beveritt, Pastor Jesse Brown and Minister Martha Burch.

The Brown Brothers of Valdosta will present special music. Pastor Joyce Christopher is the pastor.
