WAYCROSS — Edith “Edie” Louise Morgan, 76 of Waycross, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026, at her residence after an extended

illness.

Mrs. Morgan was born November 7, 1949 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late Verton Harold and Gertrude E. Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Andy R. Morgan; a sister, Diane Estette; and a son-in-law, Patrick (Pat) Patnode.

Mrs. Morgan had a love of sewing, anything from dolls for her daughters to quilts and clothes. She put her passion for sewing into her work, where she went to work at National Cap from 2004-23 when she retired. She also loved being outdoors with her gardens.

Before moving to Georgia in 1991, Mrs. Morgan lived in Connecticut, where she worked at Berkshire Transformer and Club Getaway in Kent and made many wonderful friends.

She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by two daughters Maureen “Renee” Pellicciotti (John) of Dover Plains, N.Y., and Cora Altman (Ashley) of Waycross; two brothers, Raymond Miller (Joyce) and Harold “Hougie” Miller (Barbara); two sisters, Viola “Jane” Cartier and Denise “Joy” Davis (Gene); 10 grandchildren, Jasmine Kain, Zachary Patnode (Amanda Finley), Joshua Patnode, Kirsten Middleton (Chase), Kyla Thornton, Emma Thornton, Ashley (A.J.) Altman, Connor and Hayleigh Pellicciotti and Lana Chancey (Ricky Howell); 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
