Pierce gets prepared for America’s 250 anniversary with patriotic displays

As celebrations for the United States’ 250-year anniversary draw nearer, Pierce County readies for the historic event with little and not so little examples of hometown pride. In the picture to the right: Stacey Thrift of the Exchange Club replaces a worn and tattered U.S. Flag, one of many decorating historic downtown Blackshear.
