State champion tennis teams recognized at banquet
Bears’ Class of 2026 members were (l-r) Kellen Roberts, Aaden Carlson, JC Nimmer, Jeb Bradley, Grayson Rodgers and Thomas Lucas.

JC Nimmer (left) and Kate Wetherington received Region 3-AA Player of the Year honors.

Addy Brown and Riley Chambliss (left photo) were the Lady Bears’ Doubles Team of the Year. Kellen Roberts and Colby Coates (right photo) were named the Bears’ Doubles Team of the Year .

Marlee Kate Wetherington was named Lady Bears’ MVP.

The Lady Bears’ ACE award was presented to (left photo) Mattie Lee and Jasmine Sergent. Jeb Bradley was recognized as the Bears’ ACE award winner.

Eva Horne (left photo) was tabbed Lady Bears’ Most Improved. Colby Coates (right photo) was named Bears’ Most Improved.

Jasmine Sergent (left photo) was the recipient of the Lady Bears’ Academic award. JC Nimmer (right photo) received the Bears’ Academic award.

Abby Higginson (left photo) received the Lady Bears’ Outstanding Teammate. Bryce Taylor (right photo) was the recipient of the Bears’ Outstanding Teammate.

Hutson Streat was tabbed Bears’ Newcomer of the Year.

JC Nimmer and Aaden Carlson shared the top honor as co-MVPs for the Bears.

A trio of senior Lady Bears were recognized. They were (l-r) Jasmine Sergent, Mattie Lee and Addie Brown.

Mary Mac Cochran (left photo) received the Lady Bears’ Coaches Award. Christian Thorne (right photo) was the recipient of the Bears’ Coaches Award.
