Rec. Dept. slates Family Game Night The Ware County Recreation Department will host Family Game Night from 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, June 12 at the Trembling Earth Complex, 2110 Cecil Brown Drive.
Admission is free and will include board games, virtual reality, Nintendo Switch, PS5, crafts, prizes and more. Concessions will be available to buy.

Ware school board sets called meeting
The Ware County Board of Education has scheduled a called meeting for 11 a.m., Thursday, June 11 to discuss personnel and miscellaneous items.
The meeting at the board office, 1301 Bailey Street, is open to the public. The meeting agenda is posted in advance, and the minutes are posted on the system web page at www.ware.k12.ga.us under the District and e-Board links.
The board’s regular monthly work session and meeting are June 22-23.
Juneteenth Jubilee Dance set June 20 The Ladies Auxiliary of American Veterans Post 621 will hold a Juneteenth Jubilee Dance, at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 20 at C.C. McCray City Auditorium, 865 Pendleton Street.
Tickets are $35 per person and available from any Amvets auxiliary member. In addition to the music and dancing, there will be food and a cash bar.

Juneteenth festival June 19 at Bailey Love Feeds, Inc. holds its annual Juneteenth Community Festival from noon to 5 p.m., Friday, June 19 in Bailey Street Park, 1304 Bailey Street.
There will be free food and beverages, games, bounce houses, farmers market for seniors, giveaways and prizes. Vendors are welcome at no fee.
