Parkway Baptist continues VBS Parkway Baptist Church, 101 McKinley Road, continues Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8:30 p.m. through Friday, June 12.

Greater St. Paul has VBS June 15-19 Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1110 Pittman Street, will hold Vacation Bible School Monday-Friday, June 15-19.

The program will be 9 a.m. to noon daily. The theme is “Reigning With Purpose” emphasizes good stewardship through a fun, western theme based in 1 Peter 4:10.

There will be lunch daily with special “sweet treats” for Friday’s meal. Included in the program will be the third annual talent show as well as a quiz and art activities.

Gaines Chapel has VBS through Fri.

Historical Gaines Chapel, 901 S. Georgia Parkway, continues its Vacation Bible School from 4-6 p.m. through Friday, June 12.

The program, themed “Redeemed” is divided for ages 3-4, 5-6, 7-9, 11-12 and 13-up. There will be Bible training, prayer, character building, games, snacks and gifts.

Joseph’s Pantry offers giveaway Joseph’s Pantry, a ministry of The Pentacostals of Waycross, offers staples the second and fourth Saturday of each month.

Shiloh focuses on women June 14 Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1701 Martin Luther King Drive, presents its Women’s Day program at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 14.

Guest speaker is Minister Pennie Taylor. Theme is “Women of Purpose, Strength and Virtue” from Proverbs 31: 25-26.

The Rev. Allen Alonzo Dasher is the church pastor.

St. John honors fathers June 21 St. John Missionary Baptist, 864 oak Street, will hold a special Father’s Day program at 3 p.m., June 21.

The Rev. Morris Pate of Fourth Mount Olive Church in Blackshear will lead the worship. A dinner will follow the program.

Church pastor is the Rev. Gerald Robinson.

St. Peters MBC Unity Day June 21 St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church, 300 Fireman Street, celebrates Unity Day with a special worship service at 11:15 a.m. Sunday June 21.

Theme for the program will be “One Body, Many Parts.” Guest Speaker will be Dr. Terence Lattimore of Judah Family Worship Center.

River of Life starts resource program River of Life Church, 1439 Brunel Street, offers a community resource center from 10 a.m. to noon, the fourth Friday of each month.

The River Missions program will offer practical life skills, hot meals, clothing and more. Next session is June 26.

DC Downtown has food ministry DC Downtown Food Ministry offers food items from a 5,000-square foot warehouse at 201 Jenkins Street from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The ministry serves people from more than a dozen counties in southeast Georgia and north Florida.

Way of Cross EPC has food giveaway Way of the Cross EPC holds a free food and clothing giveaway at 8 a.m. the first Saturday of each month at 512 Lee Avenue.

People should bring a bag or box for items. The first-come, first-served giveaway will next be held June 6.
