The parking lots at the Pierce County Recreation Department will be resurfaced this summer.
The county commission approved seeking bids on the project at their May 12 meeting.
The project calls for resurfacing and improvements to the parking lots at Yeomans Street and Ware Street at the recreation department.
Deadline for bids will be Thursday, June 25. A public notice for the project is included in this week’s edition.
Once bids are awarded and the project is let, the contractor will have 60 days to complete the work.
Funding for the project will come from the county’s sales tax account.
