RAYBON — Two young females were injured when the vehicle they were driving after hitting a guard rail and overturned twice Tuesday afternoon.
Reagan Bowers was traveling west on Raybon Road West at approximately 3:35 p.m., May 19 when the 2014 Ford LGT CONVTNL she was driving failed to maintain its lane, according to the report of Georgia State Patrol Trooper Austin Edwards.
The Bowers’ vehicle crossed the center line, continued off the roadway left and traveled approximately 71 feet before striking a guard rail with its driver side front. The 2014 Ford LGT CONVTNL reentered back onto the roadway and traveled another 57 feet before running off the roadway a second time.
The vehicle traveled another 28 feet before overturning twice coming to an uncontrolled final rest facing east off the shoulder of the roadway.
Bowers was transported by Air Evac to UF Health Jacksonville. Her passenger, a minor, was taken via ground to South Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick.
