HORTENSE – Jason Lee Clark, 39 of Hortense, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 at UF Health in Jacksonville, Fla.
Clark was born in Brunswick to James Mitchell Clark, Sr. and Reb ecca Johnette Crosby. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert John Crosby, Sr.; his grandparents, Melvin Clark, Sr. and Patricia Clark; and two uncles, Robert Crosby and Mike Crosby.
Clark loved spending time with his family and all his children. He was very close to his uncle Ernst, Aunt Melissa, his two sisters, Denise Clark and Rachel Clark, and his baby brothers, Brian Clark, James Clark and Christopher Clark.
He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, loved to travel and play the drums in the band called United Souls.
Survivors include two sons, Caden Clark and Braden Clark, both of Hortense; a step-son Ian Michael Hand of Hortense; two daughters, Haden Clark of Hortense and Jamie Lee Little of Waycross; his father and bonus mom, James Mitchell Clark, Sr. (Beth Harrison) of Glynn County; his mother, Rebecca Crosby of Hortense; five brothers, James Mitchell Clark, Jr., and Brian Clark both of Glynn County, Justin Spradley of Wayne County, and Christopher Clark and James Clark both of Glynn County; two sisters, Rachel Clark and Denise Clark both of Hortense; grandmother, Dorothy Irene Crosby Barber; mother of Caden, Braden and Haden and Linda Middaugh; mother of Jamie and Brittany Little; also several other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Hopewell Baptist Church.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
