Peeples
NAHUNTA – Michael Alan Peeples, 66 of Nahunta, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Harborview Satilla in Waycross after an extended illness.
Born in Waycross, his parents were Marvin Peeples and Jean Ester Highsmith Ward. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Peeples; and a sisterin- law, Alisa Peeples.
Peeples was an operator for Watkins Engineers. He loved spending time with his family, loved NASCAR, watching TV, fishing and riding in the boat.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Tammy Altman Peeples of Nahunta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alana Pollard (Wes) and Leah Lowe (Jordon) all of Nahunta; two grandchildren, Emily Peeples (Lexi) and Mazi Lowe; a brother, Brian Peeples; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
