NAHUNTA – Thomas Kenneth “Kenny” Bowen III, 37 of Nahunta, passed away suddenly Thursday, May 7, 2026.
Bowen was born in Lithonia, Ga., to Thomas Kenneth Bowen, Jr. and Katie Ramona Herrington. He is preceded in death by his father and grandmother, Margarite L. Rewis.
Bowen was a self-employed mechanic with Thomas Bowen Repair, LLC. He loved his family and was a very loving person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include two daughters, Aliza Bowen of Waycross and Alyssa Waters of Nahunta; two sons, Jackson Bowen of Blackshear and Zane Waters of Nahunta; mother, Katie Herrington Moreno (Tony) of Blackshear; two sisters, Jessica Lynn Deeter of Blackshear and Mitzi Bowen of Blackshear; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.
