Three Pierce County Schools received recognition for being named Title 1 Distinguished Schools for 2025. Pierce County Middle, Midway Elementary and Patterson Elementary Schools all received the honors. PCMS also received a National Blue Ribbon School Award for the first time ever. The awards recognize academic achievement and year-toyear improvement in academic content.
