He was a member of Axson Church of God of Prophecy, but he most recently attended Mt. Green Church of God of Prophecy. McDaniel enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughter.
In addition to his parents, McDaniel was preceded in death by his siblings, J.B. McDaniel, Gary McDaniel, Wesley Mc-Daniel, and Janice Higgs.
Survivors include his daughter, Jamie McDaniel (Jill Lyon) of East Moline, Ill; granddaughter, Ashley Lyon; sister, Jean Bowman; two brothers, David McDaniel (Debbie) and Henry Mc-Daniel (late Emmalene); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7 at Music Funeral Home. His remains will be placed to rest at Mount Green Cemetery in Millwood.
