Haley Dixon, Women’s and Children’s Services Director at Memorial Satilla Health, was named the recipient of the 2025 Randy Sharpe Health Hero Award during the Waycross- Ware County Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet.
Dixon has served at MSH for 11 years and is known for her compassionate leadership and commitment to clinical excellence.
As a transformational nurse leader, she has made a lasting impact on patients, families, and staff through her focus on high-quality, patient- centered care, hospital staffers said. Among the other awards, Chick-Fil-A was chosen Business of the Year while Robert Wallace was Entrepreneur of the Year. The Jack Williams Community Service honor went to Yavonda Stephenson and Johnny Mitcham was selected the Paul Tang “Heart of the Community winner.
