• Joey Bryan Chancey Jr., 23, was arrested Friday, April 24, and charged with felony - burning of woodlands 1st degree (arson).
Deputy Jacob Holmes and Deputy Landon Ryals responded to a residence in Pierce County and that led to Chancey’s arrest.
• Johnny Myers, 55, was issued a citation Wednesday, April 22, for illegal burning (Violation of O.C.G.A. 12-6-1 (b)) for the state ordered burn ban currently in effect for Georgia.
Deputy Judah Hodges responded to a residence in Pierce County that led to Myers being cited in the case.
• Vernon Ware, 70, was issued a citation Monday, April 27, for illegal burning (Violation of O.C.G.A. 12-6-1 (b)) for the state ordered burn ban currently in effect for Georgia.
Deputy Jack Golub responded to a residence in Pierce County that led to Ware being cited in the case.
• James Adam Hunt, 44, was arrested Monday, April 27, and charged with felony - home invasion - 1st degree, possession of firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit a certain crime, terroristic threats and acts, aggravated stalking and misdemeanor - cruelty to children - 3rd degree.
Deputy Jack Golub, Deputy Travis Courson, Deputy Blaine Mercer and Aggressive Crime Enforcement (ACE) Unit Investigator Wayne Mercer responded to a residence in Pierce County that led to Hunt’s arrest.
No photos were available for Myers and Ware due to the citations for violating the state burn ban currently in place being processed differently than other offenses.
