LULATON — The Prineveville Hotshots, firefighters from Oregon here to help fight the fires in Brantley County, were able to get their wish and touch an alligator during the Monday morning (May 4) briefing at the Lulaton Airport. The firefighters will soon be deployed to head home. The one thing they were wanting to see before they left on their four-day ride home was an alligator. The Okefenokee Swamp Park fulfilled the firefighters’ wishes bringing a couple of eight-month-old baby alligators for them to touch, get their pictures with and asked questions.
