NAHUNTA — Nancy Florene Street, 79 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 at her residence after an extended illness.
Born in Waycross, Mrs. Street’s parents were James Mc-Cracken and Vesta Brookins Mc-Cracken; and her husband, Donald Street.
Mrs. Street was a housekeeper and a faithful member of Lulaton Baptist Church where she loved her Pastor and Church family. She was an avid reader and took great pride in accomplishing her daily chores keeping house.
Survivors include her son, Ruben Street of San Antonio, Texas; three grandsons, Daniel Grayson Street (Alexis) of U.S. Army, Wash., Michael James Street of San Antonio, Texas and Rion Nicolas Street of Corpus Christie, Texas; a sister, Helen McCracken of Nahunta; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at Lulaton Baptist Church at a later date.
