Unison Behavioral Health recently honored staff member Patricia Nesmith for two decades of service with the organization. In 2006, Nesmith started her career with Unison as a full time House Parent in the Oakwood Group Home where she worked closely with Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) clients to integrate them in the community. In 2007, she received her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, further strengthening her ability to provide high-quality care. In 2021, Patricia transferred to the Kerrigan Group Home, where she continues to serve IDD clients. The honoree is described as an inspiration — deeply committed to Unison and to the individuals the organization supports. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure clients are well cared for, and enjoys creating meaningful opportunities for them to engage in the community. Flanking Nesmith are: (left) Belydia McCarty, IDD Director; Chief Operating Officer Tiffany Henderson; (right) Group Home Supervisor, Amber Rowland; and Ware CS and Group Home Program Manager, Matilda Baladez.
