Unison Behavioral Health recently celebrated Patrica Nesmith of Blackshear and her 20 years of faithful service as a member of their team.
In 2006, Nesmith began her career with Unison as a full time house parent in the Oakwood Group Home. There she worked closely with Unison’s Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) clients to help integrate them into the community.
By 2007, she received her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, further strengthening her ability to provide highquality care.
In 2021, Nesmith transferred to Unison’s Kerrigan Group Home, where she still continues to serve IDD clients with the same dedication and compassion which has defined her Unison career.
Nesmith’s coworkers describe her as “an inspiration— deeply committed to Unison and to the individuals we support.”
Others praised Nesmith for consistently going above and beyond to ensure her clients are well cared for. “Patricia enjoys creating meaningful opportunities for them to engage in the community,” said another. “Thank you, Patricia, for your dedicated service to your role in helping us achieve our mission.”
