20 Ride, a Zac Brown tribute band, will headline this year’s Beats and Eats.
The event is slated for 8 p.m. Friday, May 1, in Blackshear City Park.
20 Ride brings the Zac Brown Band tribute experience to life with masterful precision, featuring a five-piece ensemble that nails every harmony and instrumental nuance. Their versatile shows span country anthems to Caribbean rhythms, with stellar renditions of the Georgiabased Brown’s hits including “Chicken Fried”, “Toes” and “Colder Weather” and the ability to expand their lineup for any venue or occasion.
Local food vendors will be on hand offering concessions.
There is no admission charge for Beats and Eats, but locals can reserve a table (seats eight) for $300 via Main Street Blackshear’s Facebook page or by emailing [email protected]. For more information, call Better Hometown Manager Bethany Strickland at (912) 5902200.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair with them to the concert.
No tents or pets will be allowed in the park and smoking and vaping will only be allowed in designated areas.
The City of Blackshear was awarded a Vibrant Communities grant by the Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) to assist with funding Beats and Eats.
