Saturday was a special occasion for Taylor Pools, with the business celebrating a grand reopening at its new location, 1015 Knight Avenue. Those who came by for the April 18 event were treated to gift bags, which included $25 gift certificates, refreshments and door prize drawings. Taylor Pools initially moved to Knight Avenue in 2024, but was unable to keep their storefront open for long. The front half of the building collapsed in January of 2025, under the weight of snow. They were still able to remain in business while the storefront was being rebuilt. Co-owner Michelle Taylor was grateful for those who came out to support the business. “We just appreciate the community, and we thank everybody for coming in,” she said. Taylor Pools’ hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
