Lady Gators fall at Camden Co., Gators down Wayne Co.

ST. MARYS — Ware County’s Lady Gators lost by two strokes in a match with host Camden County here Thursday at The Club at Osprey Cove.

The Lady Wildcats shot a three-person team score of 128 to clip the Lady Gators’ 130.

Eevy Griffin paced Ware County with a 41. Lillie Livingston and Annslee Kate Graham carded rounds of 44 and 45 respectively for the team score.

Also playing were Kate Thomas with a 49, Lily Peters a 57 and Khloe Henderson a 58.

Camden County’s Georgia Blount was medalist with a 38. Sara Beth Wilson was a shot back with a 39.

Gators ..................................................156 Wayne County......................................168 BLACKSHEAR — Asher Dean’s two-under-par, nine-hole round of 34 led Ware County to a 12-shot victory over Wayne County.

Brody Martin and Jackson Ray posted rounds of 40 each. Lucas Tuten round out the team score with a 42. Will Peters was two shots back with a 44.

The Gators had five other members participating. Kolby King shot 45, Brandon Holley 46, Jackson Dubberly 48, Rhett Taylor 50 and Carter Hanchey 55.

Juda Denison led Wayne County with a 38. Reyn Johnson and Lane Willis fired 41s, and Austin Carter rounded out the team score with a 42.
