HUTCHINSON, Kan. — South Georgia State College veteran head coach Cory Baldwin was named the 202526 Southeastern District Coach of the Year.
Baldwin was recognized at the NJCAA National Tournament held in Hutchinson, Kan. It marked the fifth time he received the prestigious recognition.
“When you receive Coach of the Year recognition, it’s really a reflection of the success of your team and the people around you,” said Baldwin. “This honor belongs to our players who put in the work every day, our assistant coach who pours into this program, and everyone behind the scenes who helps make game day possible.”
This latest achievement adds to Baldwin’s impressive legacy of coaching excellence, with previous Southeastern District Coach of the Year awards in 2010-11, 202021, 2022-23 and 2024-25.
In addition to the district honor, Baldwin has also earned eight other Coach of the Year awards since 2010. He was named the 2024-25 Region 17/GCAA Coach of the Year, which complements his earlier 2014-15 Region 17/GCAA Coach of the Year recognition.
Baldwin also earned GABCA JUCO/NAIA Coach of the Year honors in both 2010-11 and 2014-15.
