Wayne and Glenda Quinn recently shared tips of preparing gardens for spring and celebrated the Peaches to Beaches’ plant sale success at the South Georgia Daylily Society’s regular March meeting. The Quinns are from Hazlehurst, where they run a daylily business.
Each month a special guest speaker is invited to share their gardening expertise with Daylily Society members about daylilies and beyond. Members can learn about planting, fertilizing, tips on how to hybridize and more.
The upcoming April meeting of the South Georgia Daylily Society will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21. The club meets at First Baptist Church in Blackshear. Please bring a dish to share for supper. The meal is served at 6:30 p.m. followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to join the society.
