Five Bear wrestlers qualify for state competition

The Pierce County Bears wrestling team had five qualify for state during sectionals. Those qualifying include Zack Davis, Jayden Lyons, Shawn Zsebo, Forest Whitley and Danny Thigpen. Brayden Thorn qualified as an alternate. The Bears will compete in their weight classes this Friday, February 17 and Saturday, February 18, at the state competition. During recent region competition the Bears had Forest Whitley place second, Shawn Zsebo place third, Brayden Thorn place second, Zach Davis place second, David Lyois place fourth, Jayden Lyons place first, and Danny Thigpen place first in their weight class.
