Public Forum for candidates set for Saturday, April 25 in Hoboken

There will be a public forum at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 25 at the Hoboken Community Center for candidates seeking the District 4 and 5 seats on the Brantley County Commission.

The event, sponsored by Satilla Riverkeeper, 1st Congressional District Democratic Women and Gap House Ministry, hopes to bring together all candidates seeking those offices to make statements and take questions from the audience.

Citizens United for Brantley Co. meeting Sat., April 25 at 1 p.m.

Citizens United for Brantley County’s Future is meeting Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m., on the sandbar behind Satilla Liquors for fellowship, food and fun.

Candidates for Brantley County Commission Post 4 and Post 5 will be available for interviews, as well as discuss important issues facing the county.

There will be raffles, a bounce house/slide for children and live music by the Red Shed Band. Everyone is welcome.

Waynesville Missionary Baptist homecoming, Spring Revival

WAYNESVILLE — Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church will be celebrating Homecoming Sunday morning, May 3, 2026.

We will have Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. Worship Service will begin at 11 a.m.

There will be a fellowship meal after the service. Spring Revival Services begin Monday night, May 4 at 7 p.m., and will continue through Thursday night, May 7.

The guest speaker will be Brad Boynton. All are welcome to attend.
