Pierce County Middle School’s Lady Bears soccer team finished runner-up to Long County Middle School in the Southeast Georgia Middle School Athletic Conference tournament, falling 4-3 in a penalty shootout. Sadie Warren and London Sweat scored a goal apiece in regulation with Kendall Douberly scoring on a penalty kick in overtime. Avery Wright was credited with an assist. PCMS knocked off Waycross Middle School 3-2 in the semifinals. Wright, Warren and Sweat netted the goals. Addy Hilton had an assist.
