WAYCROSS — Mr. Larry Wade Taylor, 58, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 3, 2026 at his residence.
Born December 29, 1967 in Douglas, Taylor was the son of Sandra Christine Harper Taylor and the late Denny Larry Taylor. H e worked alongside his father at Taylor Repo as a collections agent. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially going to the river, fishing, fourwheeling, and playing pool, where he was known as quite the pool shark. Taylor also loved visiting the beach, often waking at dawn to search for shark teeth. He had a special love for children, and always will be remembered for his kind spirit and big heart.
In addition to his father, he also was preceded in death by his brother, Stacey Lamar Taylor.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Harper Taylor of Waycross; two daughters, Brittney Summerall (Jake) and Jade Liles (Hagen); his beloved grandchildren, Layne, Baylee, Colten, and Greyson; his niece, Kristina McQuaig (Thomas); and his greatnephew, Riggs.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today ( Wednesday, April 8) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
