BRUNSWICK, Georgia: April 6, 2026 – Southeast Georgia Health System is proud to announce its continuing participation in Donate Life Month, a month-long initiative dedicated to raising awareness about organ, eye and tissue donation and encouraging individuals to register as donors.
With thousands of people across the country waiting for life-saving organ and tissue transplants, the Health System is committed to addressing the critical need for more organ donors. As part of the Donate Life 2026 campaign, the Health System aims to inspire and empower community members to make a difference by registering.
“Every day, people—including those right here in our communities—are waiting for a second chance at life through organ and tissue donation,” says Jan Jones, RN, BSN, director, Critical Care, Southeast Georgia Health System. “Generous donations save lives, and without them, thousands continue to face lifethreatening challenges. By supporting the Donate Life campaign, we aim to raise awareness and inspire more individuals to recognize the meaningful impact they can make by becoming registered organ donors.”
