Glynn Elroy Lee

Glynn Elroy Lee, 84, of Hoboken passed away early Saturday morning, April 4, 2026, at Northside Hospital in Duluth, surrounded by his family after a 4-month illness.
He was born January 1, 1942, and was the youngest of five children born to Raymond T. Lee Sr. and Dollie Medlin Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, R.T. Lee Jr., Eldridge Lee, Marlene Lee Aldridge, and George Lee, and his wife of 52 years, Anne Landrum Lee.
He resided in the Schlatterville community his entire life on the Lee family farm at High Bluff. He attended Hoboken High School and then enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1964. He was honorably discharged as a Motor Pool Sergeant in 1970.
He married the love of his life, Anne Landrum, in 1965 and they raised two girls. He was born loving the outdoors and had a natural gift working with the land. He joined Seaboard Construction Company at the age of 17 to become a heavy equipment operator. By 1974, he had been elevated to foreman status and retired as a superintendent from Seaboard Construction Company in Brunswick after 50 years of service. He was known throughout Southeast Georgia as the expert “dirt” man. He knew the land and which soil could serve as the critical foundation for the highways, interstates and bridges from Savannah to St. Marys and everything in between.
He was known for his outgoing personality, work ethic, discipline, perseverance and dedication to his family. He was a loving father and husband and relished being Papa to his four grandchildren. He had a natural rhythm which made him a phenomenal dancer. He never met a stranger and never missed an opportunity to have a lengthy conversation. He was tough on the surface but had a generous heart and enjoyed helping people. And most importantly, he was a God-fearing servant who loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
Survivors include his two daughters, Lynda Lee Smith (Doug), Johns Creek and Cyndee Lee Bonacci, Lawrenceville; four grandchildren, Lauryn Smith, Shea Bonacci, Isaac Bonacci and Phillip Bonacci and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 8, from the Music Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Coleman Peacock officiating. A graveside tribute with Elder Jason Deal presiding will be held at High Bluff Cemetery which adjoins the Lee Farm.
Kevin Steedley, Jake Trull, Ridge Lee, Curt Landrum, Mike Bryson and Sammy Dowling will serve as pallbearers.
A guestbook is available at www.musicfuneralhome.com.
Music Funeral Home of Waycross is in charge of arrangements.
